KNOXVILLE'S UNIQUE SHOWGIRLS & DANCING DAMES

  • WHO WE ARE

Founded in 2012 and Rebuilt in 2024, The Follies Girls (Knoxville's Unique Dancing Dames), are a dance-based, non-profit 501(c)3, performing arts organization dedicated to variety entertainment, education and empowering women in all stages of life.
See a show, start dancing, let's connect!
  • In 2026 we introduce you to the sexier, sassier and more seductive side of The Follies Girls as we present NIGHTCAP: An Intimate Show with a Bit of Burlesque, featuring primarily solos in dance, song, variety arts and burlesque striptease. We believe in all bodies are beautiful and remind you that sex appeal isn't just an age or a size it's bit of charm, passion and confidence. Come see this smaller more experimental show of ours where we focus less on the theme and more on each individual performer's chance to explore their own definitions of performance art.

We promise you another night with us, more up close and personal but still the same level of art from the heart you've come to love.

This show is for 18+ and Up only.

  • THE FOLLIES GIRLS MISSION STATEMENT

The Follies Girls is a 501c3 non-profit, dance-based performance and variety arts organization dedicated to inspiring and empowering women of all ages, body types, and walks of life to explore performing arts as an option for personal growth, ongoing development, advocacy, and modeling for younger generations to confront stereotypes of women.

We believe in helping and educating women to find their place in the performing and variety arts no matter when they begin their journey and believe that all women should have the opportunity to pursue their dreams of performing or being involved within these artistic outlets.

We believe that beauty, personal growth and ability is not defined by age or a particular body type, and that all women with a heart, mind and dedication to develop within the performing arts should have the opportunity to explore the various pathways to performance or behind the scenes endeavors for productions.

We pursue these missions, values and beliefs within the model of variety entertainment bringing the historical artforms of dance, song, vaudeville and other entertainment to the public as we work to assure ongoing preservation and evolution of these formats into a modern sensibility.
